New Version 2.1 of Code Complexity Measures Tool for Java CMTJava available

The version 2.1 of CMTJava Code Complexity Measures Tool for Java is now available.
CMTJava 2.1 comes with various smaller corrections and enhancements in the core tool
and in the add-on utilities. The tool now also calculates the MaxND
(maximum number of depth points) measure.
Testwell added support to generate the HTML report in a form, which can be published
e.g. at the company intranet. There is also now support for a wider set of browsers
(Firefox etc.).
Our maintenance customers will receive the new version in the next days free of charge.

Test Coverage Tool CTC++ Version 6.2.2 available

This revision 6.2.2 of CTC++ contains a correction of a bug which could occur
during multicondition coverage instrumentation with certain kind of
"complicated" conditions, especially if they contained ternary ?: operators.
In this revision effectively only the preprocessor component has changed.

Conformiq Rolls Out Qtronic

Conformiq rolled out the company's new product for true model driven testing, the Conformiq Qtronic, while exhibiting at the SQS Quality Conferences in Düsseldorf.
Conformiq Qtronic runs tests automatically and on the fly, deriving them without human interaction from system design models that can be provided in UML and Java.
"This roll-out is a great milestone for us. The technology has been in the works for more than four years. Our vision of automatic model driven testing has become reality in a very concrete way. This is a big step for us, and it is going to be a big step for the software industry", Antti Huima, managing director for Conformiq Software, said.

Verifysoft Technology and Conformiq Software (Espoo/Finland) have extended their distribution agreement to the French and Belgian markets. Verifysoft has already been distributor for the testing and analysis solutions (code coverage, complexity measures, unit tests) of Testwell (Tampere/Finland) in the French speaking countries. "We make today more than 30% of our sales in France and are happy that we can now propose the automatic testing tools of the New Generation to our customers in France and Belgium" says Klaus Lambertz, country manager for Western Europe. |

Conformiq Test Generator is a solution for automatic model-based test generation and automatic test execution. With the new add-on Qtronic, which will be available soon, it will be possible to import existing design models into the automatic test tool.

Version 6.2.1 of Test Coverage Tool Testwell CTC++ available

Testwell announces the release of CTC++ version 6.2.1 for all supported platforms
(Windows, Linux, HP-UX, Solaris).
The new version comes with enhancesments for the work with some extreme C++
and GNU gcc cases.
The enhancements are mostly based on the experience of Verifysoft Technology during the
code coverage of a running Linux 2.6 Kernel.
Our experiences with the work on a CTC++ instrumented Linux kernel and a blog are
here available.

Testwell CTC++ 6.2 available

Testwell releases CTC++ 6.2, a new version of the leading test coverage analyzer.
CTC++ 6.2 comes with a rearchitectured HTML report.
Besides the layout changes it no more requires pop-ups and JavaScripts from the browser.
Testwell also introduced a symbolfile locking/serialization scheme facilitating parallel
"CTC++ builds" of the source files of a project, for example in a Linux
farm context. Some "extreme-situation C++" instrumentation bugs have been
corrected. Support for CodeWarrior v3.1 at Symbian EPOC emulator use has been added.

Conformiq announces QTRONIC, a revolutionist testing tools for design-model-driven testing

Our partner Conformiq Software announced at Embedded World (14-16 February 2006) the release of QTRONIC, a revolutionist testing tool for automatic design-model-driven testing for the middle of the year 2006.
The tool will be presented during the Software Systems Quality Conferences the 10-12 May in Düsseldorf (Germany).

New Version of Testwell CMT++ (v. 4.1) available

Please be informed that a new CMT++ version 4.1 has been released.
The upgrade is available on all supported platforms (Windows, Linux,
Solaris and HPUX).
The new version contains e.g. the following:
- introduction of MaxND measure (maximum nesting depth of {}s)
- introduction of Visual Studio .NET 2003 IDE integration
- improvements in CMT++ GUI
- improvements in cmt2html add-on utility/HTML reporting
- correction to file-level Maintainability Index calculation
- corrections in cmt2xml add-on utility
