CMTJava: Code Complexity Measures Tool for Java now with Maintainability Index

The software test specialists Testwell (Finland) http://www.testwell.fi and Verifysoft Technology (Germany) http://www.verifysoft.com announce the release today of a new version of the code complexity mesures tool CMTJava (Version 2.0).

About Testwell CMTJava (Complexity Measures Tool)

Testwell CMTJava is an easy to use tool to measure the code complexity. The tool analyses software projects for the following metrics: Mc Cabes Cyclomatic Number, lines of code Metrics, Halsteads Metrics and maintainability index.
CMTJava locates complex code parts. A complex code is often cause of bad software quality and incorrect programs. Software with high complexity is also difficult to test and to maintain.
The maintainability index, which is now available, indicates when it is more economical, to write complex code parts again instead of modify them.
CMTJava is available for Windows, Linux, HP-UX and Solaris. With CMT++ Testwell and Verifysoft propose also an appropriate tool for the complexity measures of C and C++ projects.
