Test Coverage Analyzer Testwell CTC++ now integrated in Visual Studio .NET

The software test specialists Testwell http://www.testwell.fi and Verifysoft Technology http://www.verifysoft.com announce the release of a new version of the Test Coverage Analyzers CTC++ (Version. 6.1) which is now completely integrated in the devlopment environment Visual Studio .NET.

CTC++ is one of the most powerful tools to measure code coverage in C and C++ projects.
By the checking for function-, decision-, statement-, condition-, multicondition- and modified condition/decision (MC/DC) coverage, CTC++ will help you to make sure that the whole code of in a software project has been tested.
Besides the test coverage function, CTC++ provides also a timing function to find bottlenecks in an application.

The new version comes with the following enhancements:

  • new, full GUI integration into Visual Studio 7.x/.NET
  • new ctc2excel tool to convert coverage data to tab-separated list, ready to import in Excel or into a programming language of your choice.
  • supports now Microsoft Managed C++ extension

Until now CTC++ was already integrated in several IDEs, among them Microsoft Visual Studio 5.0/6.0, Borland C++ 5.0, Metrowerks CodeWarrior and Wind River Tornado.

CTC++ is successfully in use in many projects, especially in avionics, space, transport, and medical industry as well as for testing of smart cards. (some references are shown here).
